I was really impressed with the woodworking on this guitar! It needed very little sanding and the neck fit was excellent. I was nervous about how much neck pocket work I might need to do, but it was a very tight and appropriate fit. I mostly wanted this kit just for the wood pieces but the tuners and bridge are acceptable, however I didn’t use any of the electronics. The ebony wood on the fretboard and the inlay were excellent and the binding was really clean also. As expected the frets needed some sanding and leveling. The only negative for me was the default plastic nut was glued on really tightly to the point I didn’t want to try to break it off and possibly damage the neck or fretboard. Overall this is an excellent kit, I would definitely buy this again, I think it’s a really great value for the quality of the woodworking.
