Medium scatter wound for that warm tone found in the early ST pickups that everyone is looking for.
The pole pieces are staggered right handed AlNiCo 3 magnets. Magnets are slightly hand-bevelled and polished. These pickups are potted to avoid microphonic sound and improve durability. Vintage cloth leads require no stripping... just push back and solder. Includes mounting screws and springs. Want to change the Cover to another colour? Before you buy

These are raw, unfinished kits from a production factory, not flat-pack furniture. Expect to sand, fill and finish your instrument yourself, and expect the occasional scratch, dent or glue spot to deal with along the way. That is the craft, and it is why the result is worth playing.

Do a mock build before you sand or paint anything. We cannot accept returns on kits that have been part-assembled, painted or stained.

New to building? Start with an ST or TL kit, where much of the wiring is already done at the factory. We would not recommend a hollow body for a first build.

I must say these are some of the most nicely made pickups I have ever seen, and easily compare to Gibson, Seymour Duncan and PRS for build quality, I have some new in box for some other projects: The quality is that good.
The classic wrapped wiring is easy to pull back and solder, and looks the part.
They sound great, that classic Strat tone and overdrive nicely, they are great pickups.
They go well through my Fender Twin and also through my Boss GT100 effects system, I am very pleased indeed.
